Boting whit ubuntu 10.10 live cd
open terminal
then type:
$ sudo -s
# fdisk -l
this my exampel partisi:
# mount /dev/sdb2 /mnt/
# grub-install --root-directory=/mnt/ /dev/sda
To upgrade list on grub:
# chroot /mnt/ /bin/bash/
# update-grub
